This Saturday at the Grand Final hosted by Belmont we will be holding a training session for those not playing in the Grand Final on Lumsdon Oval (behind right field) at the batting cages from 1pm for about an hour or so. Is more a chance for those not playing to roll the arm over and keep it moving, take a few ground balls and then get some cuts in the cage. Let you team mates know about the day.

Most important for all, don't forget about the Toronto Derby Day on Saturday 26 September. We will be playing a trial game against a Toronto invitational team that will consist of Central Coast, Sydney and overseas players. u23 players are also required to attend as some of you may be required to play....we will be playing in grey pants. Those not playing in the game will be having a training run on the soccer fields over the back.

Remember the Home Run Derby on the day.....$500 1st prize. Refer to the attached flyers in regards the day and register to participate now. The fences will be well shortened at approximately 280 down the lines and 300 at centre.....you could nearly bunt a ball over that! I hear Leighton Wingrove is the only registered person so far, surely some of you can beat him for the $500 on offer.

Times: Those participating in the Derby need to be there about 9:45am to ensure registered and ready to go. Register before the day for $20 to ensure your spot, otherwise those registering on the day (if spots available) will be paying $40 to participate. Trial game starts at 12 noon with Derby final following game. All need to be there by 10:30am to get uniform top etc and warm up.
