This weekend (15th & 16th August) at Roy Jordan Sports Ground Gilleston Heights, Maitland Mavericks are holding a Go Pink day in conjunction with the McGrath Foundation in support of a cure for breast cancer.

The Mavericks will be running a stall with donated goods, McGrath Foundation merchandise and many other assorted pink paraphernalia. On both days a BBQ will also be hosted with all proceeds going to the McGrath Foundation.

The weekend will culminate in the official opening of the scorers box at 11:30am on Sunday morning with Local Members, Councillors, Lions Club Officials and other dignatories attending.

The Maitland Mavericks would like to extend a warm welcome to all Newcastle players and supporters to attend this event and contribute to such a worthy cause.
